Got a new great job locked up so when he called me tonight I was able to tell him....F*CK YOU and it was AWESOME!!!!! New job has better hours and +6K mo' money right out of the gate - with a company that appears to actually give a crap about their employees. I'm very happy!

Congrats on your courage and finding a new job.

Four years ago I called my boss a creepy c*nt during a very heated argument. I had quit my job and had been unemployed since then. Thankfully, I run my own business now which is going great, but was struggling severly during the recession period.

Anyhow, am always proud of people who stand up against their arrogant bosses because it takes a lot of guts to do it

I don't know your situation, but in general I would say this belongs in the "Don't try this at home" category.

You never know when you will need a reference - and getting a reference from someone at your current place of employment can be tricky if you don't want them to know you are applying for a job elsewhere.

I quit my last two full-time jobs - though to be honest I think at the second one they were basically trying to force me to resign. I resisted the temptation to chuck a shitty - I just soldiered on for the three weeks' notice period, doing the job to the best of my ability - and at the end I said goodbye to one or two people that I felt deserved it, walked out and just shut the door on that part of my life.

And - I am amazed that this still needs to be said - NEVER post what you think of your boss, present or past, on Facebook. Just don't. Don't even THINK about thinking about it.

I once told this particularly bitchy boss of mine to quit chewing me out for not doing stuff I was never, by one person, told I should do, called her a black bitch and threw my building access card at her face before punching a cubicle and going home. That felt better than sex. Unfortunately, that pleasant feeling was killed off when some drunk asshat ran a red light and totaled my car.

Funny enough, at most of my jobs, the same workers most people called a bitch and disliked I got along with as best friends.

SERIOUSLY - The conversation was entirely private - Nothing was posted anywhere that would identify him or me - it was just the pure satisfation of actually saying what I've felt for SO LONG but never had the balls to say to his face until I had a new job totally locked up. He played the card of "what if your new employer calls here for a reference?" and I called bullshit on that too because I already HAD THE JOB idiot!...bottom line is I'm free as a bird now....and this bird you cannot change!

but you did blow my mind with that 2nd video. I made some decent overtime cash in the final weeks of my last job and actually went out and bought a new kayak! Been into that for years - mostly for fishing but I also like just paddling around and enjoying nature - weird, eh? You rock!
