Yes, they did it again. The east european country's send the best singer in the first semi-finals home! How is it possible, its a songcontest not a look how i can dance, how i sweep my ass around, not a place where people with NO voice can win.
We send the last 3 years the best singers and songwriters (Anouk, the common limmits and trijntje oosterhuis), but we don't have any chance to win the contest.
So i ask you, what do you think about the european songcontest>

Well I think it's also about show, and the whole performance. It's a spectacle, not some Idols, where people are judged only by their voice and looks. I mean we had one year Paradise Oskar. He just sat there, played guitar and sang, with a picture of a moon behind him. I was like "C'mon!":duh: And was Lords Hard Rock Hallelujah really a good song? I think not, and for Eurovisons? Never believed he would win. It was the show, the freak show effect

If it was just the singers voice that counted, they could just cast it on radio or something Personally I have never found out the logic how the winner is picked, it seems so random, but that's part of the fun. And ofc judging each performance with friends and choosing ones own favourite:cheers:

I usually try to watch it all but usually don't pay attention and surf the net or mute the sound but there were singers? The thing reminded me why they had invented "playback" in the first place. Sad, that the blond cute guy from Ukraine didn't make it.
