Translation of tattoo help

Hi Guys,

There is a Czech actor out there that has a tattoo across his belly, and I have always wondered what it says. It uses "fancy" font, and some characters I can not figure out

I think it's latin phrase. I don't know if my eyes were wrong seeing it but it said 'Vita Comminus Est'. I do know similiar phrase like that, 'Vita Communis Est' which mean 'Is Community Life'
It's quote from St. John Berchmans 'meus maxime mortificatsio est vita communis.' which means 'my greatest mortification is community life'

Since latin is so messy, my guess would be "community is life".

I stuck it into Google Translate's beta Latin translator, and it disagrees with me, coming up with the less inspiring: "Life is common"

It is indeed Latin, but it is not "communis"... Just check with the I from the first word...

It's "Vita Comminus Est", which simply means "Life is now"....

Arrrr Thanks guys for battling it out figuring out the translation of what is written across this guys belly. Hope I was not working your brains too much for a Sunday

"Life is now" kind of makes sense for something to tattoo on your self.

I have seen quite a few Czech guyz have English words tattoo'd on them selves recently
