Uploading pic in signature?

Hello,

I have a pic I'd like to see in my signature.

The note says: "The maximum size of your custom image is 600 by 300 pixels or 34.2 KB (whichever is smaller)."

My pic is larger than 34.2 but smaller than 600x300 pixels.

Surprisingly (lol) the upload doesn't work.

Maybe my english is too bad to understand that cryptic rule. Does that mean: The image must not be larger than 34.2 kb and 600x300 pixels?

And if that is so, why don't you just allow IMG-Tags in signatures?

edit: Upload solved with the help of Whisper. Thank you. IMG-Tags would be quite nice though, the quality is rather mediocre with 30 kb.

first of all: a nice picture, with a really nice guy!

And to your question: If I understand the rule right, than you can not upload a picture, which is bigger than one of those sizes. If your picture is bigger than 600x300 it won't fit, and if it is bigger than 34,2 kb it won't fit also.
