We are gonig to have a bit of wind!!!

Hay Guys,

The South of England is going to have a very windy night and day tomorrow.

With gusts of up to 80MPH (130KM PH).

They said it will be like the one we had back in 1987 I think it was.

It is just the wait now....

And on the morning will I be able to get to work? (now that I have to drive to work )

Lets hope the tree by my car does not fall on it!!!! That would make my day!

Im expecting my fencing in the garden to fall over as it is not very strong .

I best go out now and move all the things that might fly around!

I hate this wait!

And more importantly will I have electric in the morning or even worse the phone lines go down and I wont be able to post tomorrows clip.. LOL

Well where I live it was a bit of an anti climax really.

Woke up at 6am with the wind noise.

Eventually got up at 8am, and looked out window and only saw one pot plant had fallen over. I was expecting fence panels to be blown down, but nope.

I guess the wind took a slight detour round my town.

So anyone else here in the South of England affected by Mondays storm.

Well as it turned out "St.Jude" as they decided to call the storm caused 4 deaths in UK but 12 more in Germany; Belgium and Scandinavia... mainly as a result of falling trees, which in one case burst a gas main and burnt 3 houses down.

I used to love the sound of the wind through the trees...until a tree fell in my back yard and just missed my house. Granted the tree was already dead but it now keeps me alert when it gets really windy.
