For two weeks in mid to late February, photographers and tourists from across the world flock to this California national park to witness a stunning celestial illusion. Weather permitting, as the sun sets the Horsetail Fall waterfall is illuminated to the point that the streaming liquid looks like molten lava cascading down the face of El Capitan.
This just has to be aurora borealis!!! But of course it could be its opposite, aurora australis!!! But it doesn't matter - so damn beautiful!!! :thumbs up::thumbs up::thumbs up:
You're right! Incredible contrast between two worlds: The City Vs. Central Park, which was designed in part by Frederick Law Olmsted in 1858. This photo by Kathleen Dolmatch captures the two worlds as they exist side by side.
