I borrowed the album recently from the local library, out of curiosity.

I have to say that while I admire the players' virtuosity, the music didn't do a great deal for me. I think I like jazz-influenced rock music more than I like jazz itself. Joni Mitchell, for example, is very good at incorporating jazz influences into what are basically rock songs.

One of the members of Weather Report (drummer Chester Thompson) toured with Genesis at one stage. I saw them perform here in about 1985. The drum duet between Thompson and Phil Collins was one of the highlights of the evening.
