So this track I'm about to post was performed on last night's episode of "Glee" by Gwyneth Paltrow, who made her last appearance (of the season?) as substitute teacher, Holly Holiday. While I adore her voice and think she is talented, this is just one artist that she shouldn't have touched; Adele's voice is too original and amazing to be tampered with, but I digress.

Let's just say I'm definitely feeling this song quite a bit today. I don't want to pull this into another "What is Jonny thinking" kind of post... so I'll just let the song do it for me and hope that, as always; it does it's magical healing thing it tends to do.

There are only two things I took away from the "American Pie" movies: the gross-out humor (which has long since died out) and the first time I heard this beautiful song from the first part of the original trilogy. I would rewind that scene just so I could hear her sweet voice again. (I've played this about 10 times via my iPod... and I'm sure I will a few more times. ♥)

I don't even have words for how special this song is to me... I dedicate this one to someone just as special. Thank you for everything you have been and everything you continue to be to me.
