Familientragödie
Wilhelm Gabalier nahm sich 2006 auf dramatische Weise das Leben – er zündete sich im Garten ihres Hauses an. Den Grund erklärte seine Mama Huberta: „Er verlor seinen Job und wurde depressiv.“ Als ob das allein nicht erschütternd genug wäre, ereilte die Familie nur wenig später der zweite Schicksalsschlag. Andis jüngere Schwester Elisabeth konnte den Tod des Vaters nie ganz verkraften. Die damals 19-Jährige wählte nur zwei Jahre später denselben grausamen Freitod. „Wir wissen bis heute nicht, warum. Der Schmerz hört nie auf.“
