There have been many words, thoughts and comments regarding the loss of this unbelievably talented artist (especially since it happened only 2 1/2 months ago), but on this day which would've been her 28th birthday, she still is in my thoughts and heart. I'm not going to mourn her passing; I'm going to celebrate her amazing music and spirit. So with that being said...

Happy birthday, Amy Winehouse. ♥ You are missed and loved!

OK... y'all are going to probably either a) laugh at me for this one or b) be totally surprised that she even had a song! :rofl:

So, a few years back on "America's Next Top Model", host Tyra Banks decided to go on a music path. The album, to be called "T.Y.R.A." was something she had always dreamed of doing. For this video, she used contestants from that cycle (that's what she calls the seasons; it was season/cycle 2) in it. I personally LOVED the song; it was a great dance track and I couldn't wait to hear more.

However, it was panned pretty badly and she decided not to release the album and it went pretty much unnoticed afterward.

I have always adored this song and it's always been a mainstay on my iPod. And considering she announced last night that she would be releasing another music video during this cycle (the "All-Stars" season... go, Isis King! :thumbs up, I wanted to revisit this song.

It's called "Shake Ya Body" and if you give it a chance, I think you might actually like it.
