A sullen look, floppy ears which are accentuated by a short haircut, that’s me.


I must admit that this photo is a bit dated. It was taken in 1966. As a 20 year young man I had to do my duty in the Royal Dutch Air Force. And I also have to admit that my looks changed a bit during the years that followed.
(Recently I discovered my old military passport between old papers).

At the risk that you find that I begin to show exhibitionistic attitude I want to share another vintage one. This one is taken in 1964 (so I was 18). Proud as a little kid I show the engine of my 12 year old motorcycle. I overhauled it myself (a Velocette MAC 350cc). Motorcycles, football and fishing were my big hobbies in those days.
