What has happened to 5t@xus been posted

Personally, I think studios like St@x^s are shooting themselves in the foot. When they allowed unlimited downloads, I subscribed 2x a year. When they stopped doing that and went to streaming only, I stopped subscribing at all. And now that their videos are not even being shared, I stopped caring altogether.

Yer I read that a while back that they are stopping downloads, and only streaming. But I think they have gone back on that as people do like to download and own the file. So they do offer that again

I've read on another forum that they use besides the explained autograph also a second system as DRM, means you have to activate your device with a code sent by email to view your bought videos.

That with a code is not for the videos, it's just a 2 factor authentication (you get a code to the registerd email adress which you have then to put in) to prevent account sharing (edit: or account stealing, depends on the view).

I have noticed the lack of BøyFʊn clips for the past couple of weeks. Has BøyFʊn gone down the same line as 5t@xus, where they are "protecting" their content?

I've seen nothing mentioned on their website. Unless it is buried somewhere in fine print. Usually it would be displayed prominently to scare subscribers.

Personally, I think B0yf%n has long since surpassed St@x*s in terms of what is being produced. Better guys, better performances. There seems to have been a dramatic dropoff in quality (and hence interest) at the latter. I would miss BF; I don't miss STX. And I can live without all of them. I have to believe this approach to their public is more likely shooting themselves in the foot.

The majority of guys that appear on BF have also worked for St@xus.

I agree that BF has improved a lot since that Brit guy took over. But the same problem as with St@xus: we same the same models over and over again.


Just a weird thought: might Bel@mi have taken over or have invested money in St@xus and/or BF and pointed them the way to protect their scenes?
