PC had a High temperature CPU warning earlier, and then shut its self down!!! GRRR in the middle of ripping a film. It is a warm day and very warm in my front room here. I will take top off PC later and see if cooling fins on CPU are blocked with dust. Just too warm to do that right now!

I cut the grass and pulled some weeds. Now I'm going to take a ride out to a wilderness area and hike to an isolated pond where I'll jump in and splash around. About 2 miles hike in.

Three job agencies have got back to me which makes a nice change. Had to laugh at one job agency. Their music on hold was the pink panther them tune. EXCELENT.

Also have one interview set up for Wednesday next week, but still awaiting confirmation for that one.

One job that REALLY takes my fancy I hope I get which is not too far away. So somehow have to fight for that one.

I will keep you posted.

Took a ride out to the big Indian casino in Connecticut, Foxwoods. Not to gamble, but to hit the buffet, and if there were any acts performing, see a show. Plus its a good ride to take, the casino is way out in the rural part of the state. I wasn't really hungry and they didn't have an act scheduled so I just walked around.

Yesterday was lazy. After some job hunting, I sat for about two hours at my favorite bar nursing a beer then some hot sake while watching the news. Judging from the reports I watched, S&P's decision to rate this country's credit AA+ has put many foreign investors into a real frenzy. Funny how something so simple that just sits as a mark on paper can cause people with control of such important things to act like monkeys. Was the United State's financial situation any less obvious before the S&P downgrade? Well, I digress, I'm off topic now.

The interview lasted an hour and three quarters which is quite long I thought, since my last one was under an hour from what I can remember.
