I am into my 101 day streak in the Duolingo Chinese course and at the rate I am ripping through it, only 8 hours left to complete the course.

Will it make me fluent in Mandarin, I don’t think so. But it taught me to recognize at least a thousand commonly used Chinese characters, their meanings and how to use them in a sentence.

Next course is Japanese, I've got to understand what those cuties in Japanese gay porn are saying when they .

Wow - I'm just struggling to maintain the semi-decent French I used to speak and get my Spanish to acceptable levels! Ya'll are amazing. (If I got Spanish down, I think German's next, just because it's interesting)

But it so easy now to brush up in any language, Radio España for example has excellent programming. They have a downloadable impressive serialized version of Don Quixote and various other classics.
