I love the hummingbirds and butterflies of summer. I love the colorful flowers and green grass. I love the shade under trees where a breeze feels cool on my face. I love the smell of fresh cut grass and watching my shirtless neighbors sweaty bodies as they mow and rake. I love the smell of cook-outs and the taste of watermelon. A few weeks ago...I was at the supermarket and there was this really cute guy standing in the next line and what really caught my attention was the fact that he had on these flimsy shorts where the length stopped right below his knees. However, because he was standing right in the direction where the sun cascaded from the huge front window, I could see straight through those shorts. He was wearing no underwear and his dick was semi hard and I could see it dangling and moving whenever he moved for an item off the mint rack that stood on the side of the line he was in. In fact, the material was so thin, I could visibly see his dick head and his balls. Now...to answer your question...this is what makes me happy about summer....haha...

I live near the tropics near the sea so "NOTHING CAN BE HAPPY ABOUT THE SUMMER".
For us, it is happy in the winters - and then its all the things that have been posted in this thread.

Well dear Frontlemon - here in the middle of Europe (Germany) very slowly the summer says good-bye and the winter will come with all its snow, ice and sleekness - with all the gray and cold days. No I hate winter and my favourite time in the year will be the summer.
But mostly we will love that what we cannot have - isn't it?

Shelter we all love the same thing (read climate/temperatures) . Our climate gets hotter in the summer than the "ideal" and your climate gets colder than the "ideal" in the winters.
As I say, we all love the "same things" .
