Another Slovenian day in Planica!

Peter Prevc, who had secured the overall World Cup win prior to the finale, made history with the record 15th individual victory of the season and 22nd podium finish. He beat overall World Cup runner-up Severin Freund of Germany by over 800 points with 2,303 points won in the season, another all-time record.

This is a little silly, but it gave me a chuckle.

I went to my gym right outside of Boston after work today. There was a new guy on the machine across from me. He looked like Dirk Caber, daddy porn star. But I dismissed the notion. I don't cross paths with porn stars. We nodded pleasantly as we switched machines.
There was another new guy on a leg machine. Big, hairy, fit, middle aged. Jesse Jackman! Pornstar boyfriend of Dirk!

The animal charity I work for has had so many donation pick ups this past week, We did one last Saturday that was a storage shed full of store fixtures and over 200 sheets of 3/4 inch plywood. We have a shortage of young volunteers and I was having a problem getting people lined up to go and get the rest, I happened to be talking to the local SCPA today to let them know we had just gotten 20 bags of Pedigree dog food extra from Krogers and we would be dropping it off and while talking they mentioned that they needed plywood real bad to build a shelter for the horses rescued in the local flood in Houston. I have been so happy all day that the wood will go to such a good use.
