I now go in "Hibernation",

-lawnmowing last time this year
-(preparing Hibernation since weeks-barbecue, sunshades, garden furniture-..... brought inside)
- winter service for all gasoline-propelled garden tools,
-oil change, cleaning, spark plugs service, lubricate, sharpening knifes, ..........

...

all done now

Happy?
I'm doing this too. It makes me sad.
Winter is coming.

Yea happy, because i like the change of seasons and
this summer it was always humid and mild, lawn was growing irrestible, i have a huge area and I am mulching the lawn to avoid amounts of lawn cuttings... so i had to do it two times a week all over the summer.... happy its over.... i like it but too much is too much :thumbs up:

I'm happy for you. A new car raises my happiness level by quite a few notches too. Post a pic.

Thank you and this is a pic - the same colour like this is mine:

It is a Peugeot 3008. I've waited a very long time for it.

Not sure if it is the same company but Peugeot is also well known as a manufacturer of great pepper mills. For the longest time, their tallest model (of pepper mill) which they now call the Paris was known to serving staff and maitre d’s in mid-century Paris as the Rubirosa. Named after the celebrated Dominican diplomat, jet setter and playboy Porfirio Rubirosa who was reputed to have been endowed with one of similar thickness and length. According to the lucky ladies who experienced it, what was all the more remarkable was the way he wielded it.

My hubby had three days off in a row and this was like a vacation for us as his work schedule has been brutal and we haven't had more than one day at a time since mid-August. We spent one day lounging at home and two days at the beach. We got to get in a lot of US time and make the most out of those three days.

Yesterday was a pretty surprising day at work...
Evidently, there was a contest (that I wasn't even aware) based on our performance, twenty employee's names were put in a drawing for a prize and I won!

Granted, I really dislike having to get in front of a large crowd, stand there while my manager talks about me, and get my picture taken with my super red embarrassed face, but the prize was definitely worth it in the end.

I won a 55" 4K Roku Smart UHDTV. Now I have to get a new TV stand. LOL
