For a continuous period of over five years, my assigned gym locker was next to one used by an unusually good looking and lithe young man whom I never ever noticed giving me or anyone else as much as a sideways glance. Turned out he was a world class figure skater and I only found out reading his obit with pic, died of complications of AIDS.

My useless ISP has at long last fixed my broadband and my speed is back to a level slightly above what it was before, so no longer trying to cope with snails pace speeds of 0.05 to 0.35

Another reason for being happy - yesterday I went into the town centre and in one of the supermarkets was a really gorgeous twink but I was in conversation with someone so only got a short glimpse...…

….. but today I was walking past a hotel that has been closed for refurbishment and there he was outside, painting a fence with his shirt off in the sunshine and (very) snug fitting football shorts... kept me hot and horny all the way home.

Rain, rain, rain, beautiful rain!!!

Finally, at last we got the powerfull rain we've been longing for after a horrible drought in my parts of Sweden! Many hours of rain yesterday, and hours of really powerful rain today - precisely what I and everybody else dearly needed.

Finally, at last we got the powerfull rain we've been longing for after a horrible drought in my parts of Sweden! Many hours of rain yesterday, and hours of really powerful rain today - precisely what I and everybody else dearly needed.

We hoped for rain - and yesterday it happened - but only for 3 hours. It was good but today again blue sky and 32°C. The heat wave will continue.

Same here in UK... thunderstorms yesterday with strong winds and lots of rain. More wind and rain so far today but forecasters saying hot sunny weather to return in a few days. Although I do like the sun more than this type of weather I will enjoy not having to get the watering cans out to water the plants until maybe next weekend..... might have to get the lawn mower out in a day or two - not had to use it in last 5 weeks

It amazes and delights me that at my age, I was able to learn (and learn by heart) a long Bach piece that seemed difficult and inaccessible (to my skill level) when I first started learning it. This modest success in turn gives me the courage to tackle other seemingly difficult Bach pieces.

I wrongly assumed that one’s ability for retention and recall migrate to an undisclosed location once you hit retirement age. Ain’t necessarily so, as it turns out.

Hi Trencherman let me tell you that I really adore you for your fortitude to do or to learn things from which you or others are thinking "that won't we learn anymore". That my dear friend is the real medicine to stay young - perhaps not physically but in your heart.
