What`s with the porn viewings?

Has anyone noticed on the home page... general discussion: 3 viewing... xxx movies: 200 viewings... and sometimes at some hours even 300 viewings...
I mean, c`mon! looks like 90% of the people come here just for porn...:|

Well I try to say "Hello and Welcome" to all the Introductees and visit all the new threads in the General Discussion, although I don't reply to all as the subject may not always be of interest to me - e.g the condition of your commode Thor, that definitely comes under the " more information than I need " category. And I try and remember to check the Requests regularly and answer where I can. What I have found though is that sometimes you will message members but get no replies, even when the message is "Happy 21st Birthday" - my guess is that many have "come here just for the porn" as Jamie so aptly puts it and maybe they don't even spot the Notifications, or even know that they have a Profile Page and so won't see visitor messages, and when they get an alert for a PM they have no idea how to open or answer it, as some pop-up blockers will prevent the automatic re-direction. I agree with you Thor its a shame that more people don't but at the end of the day members are free to participate in the forum at what ever level of involvement as they wish and we have to respect that. I have noticed recently though that a few of the newly joined members have made comments and contibutions - so thats encouraging.

maybe the reason is that there might be a number of people coming here who are curious about male on male action, but in real life would never admit that they're gay, bisexual or have an interest in the same sex for that matter. and you know, it's one thing to pretty much anonymously (did i spell that right??) download and watch porn and sign out, going back into the real world, but when writing anything in general discussion or other topics, i think it's much more differently; when doing that, you reveal something of yourself, even if it's only the fact that you're gay or bisexual and i would guess that a lot of people don't wanna reveal that - not in front of other people, and, more importantly, not in front of themselves.
i hope i made some sense here, tell me what you think..
as for me, i used to come and look here for the porn and this has kinda changed, i just really like to read what other people think and thus write down in the general discussions topics. guess i am just curious about people..
as of me, i'm bisexual, i got a girlfriend, and i am curious :-D and at the end of a day i just really like to read thru some of these topics, maybe it may help me to find out what i actually really want...

I think coming here is like going to a party at someone's house....you should have some common courtesy and respect - so mingle a little and introduce yourself before you bull-rush the buffet table (the free porn) and act like you haven't eaten in a month! It might be bad on my part (Dereliction of duty, so to speak) but I always check the "water cooler chat" (the staff's Private area) and the discussions first, sometimes I'm on the forum for two hours before I ever go and see who fucked what up in the porn area...
