So...I`m curious...cause we`ve been talking about jobs and heavy work lately so...
My job now is...none :( I`m unemployed starting last week. I used to work as a ...hmm how do you call it? Zinc Sheets carpenter? LOL
Before coming here, in Italy, I first worked as an accountant for an Energy drinks importer.. ( in that period I used to drink 4-5 energizers /day at least LOL) ..
After that I was an accountant for a pizzeria & gelateria (ice cream) place where they did a lot of italian meals...from pizza to spaghetti and tortellini... and my last job before coming here was as a translator for an american-romanian electric company (Innovative Electric of New York ...i`m not making publicity but I`m curious if anyone ever heard of this company) ...what I did was to translate the maintenance books of some machines this company had...

And that`s pretty much it... well, I once worked for a very short period (like 3 days LOL!) as a receptionist at a hotel... and then as a invoice officer (if there is such thing :p well, I was the guy who did the invoices on the computer for the costumers) for a furniture company... and after I came here I did some work in constructions (breaking walls, carrying cement sacks and tiles packs etc.. the heavy work lol! I got paid with 4 Euros/hour which is soooo low) Last year I went with these guys who have a small business to make some stands for a Showroom in Paris and in Koln and one time in Rome.

And that`s all.

Sounds... different as I would have imagined your voice to be... but I am sure it must be very cute to hear you talking english or italien... there has to be a real nice little accent ^^

I was a sniper in the Marines, a skill that has few applications in civilian life, so currently, I work in a restaurant. In the past I've been an ambulance dispatcher/driver, a baker (doughnuts), liquor store clerk, account manager, sold satellite systems, done warehouse/production work and I've repossessed cars...

im job-less... recession is bad...

Why do you think I'm working in a restaurant? When times are tough you take what you can get. There is no shame and no such thing as a job that's beneath you...:)
