what sense is poop or peeing?

I asked a question about ower senses...sight, smell, sound, taste and touch..we have these, so what is the urge to poop? is that a sense? to pee?
is that a sense?

what are human bodily functions? a sense? how could it be anything else?

so again...how many senses do we have?

Its not a sense, per se, it's a feeling. Your internal sensitivity is higher than the outside of your body. When you feel a poop prarie-dogging that's when it hits your sense of touch. When it moves inside you, you feel the urge to poop but you know you should wait for the whole thing...Your intestines are feeling it.

Technically touch. But senses are defined by outside information being taken in and processing them, no? Feelings are then, inside information circulating within oneself?

Feeling is a response mechanism that accomodates change. When you feel something, it's due to the fact that somewhere, something has changed. Usually it goes unnoticed until it piques interest from one of our senses, or in the case here, our internal "senses". I think of it as a capacitor-type function (nerd alert). It doesn't do anythig until the charge level hits the threshold.
