What TV I watch I watch online but my old fat TV set went to garbage early this year. The things I watch on TV I can see online as well and much more convenient.
As for type, my preference is LED just for the sake of longevity. LED TV's last twice as long as LCD and are more efficient than plasma. Resolution wise, I really can't see enough of a difference above 720p to justify the added expense, and I have absolutely no use for a smart phone and damn sure don't want a smart TV...
Really, all the extra shit is only good for bragging rights...
I am not sure, but I think it will be 32 inch. The machine is about ten years old, so no LCD or Plasma, but an old fashioned Tube as picture generator. I am fully content about the quality. It is a Philips. The only limitation is that my dogs destroyed the remote control, so I am back to manual control.
i got an 47" LG, LM860
it's awesome, superb screen, looks great, movies are awesome, passive 3d is really nice, no head aches, screen is quite bright even with 3d on. bought it on cyber monday, was like 800$ cheaper
I have a smallish Vizio LCD mounted on the wall in the bedroom and a gigantic old RCA crt in the living room. A gigantic Sanyo CRT in my bedroom at parent's house. CRTs aren't exactly my favorite but if they work, then it's not worth the hassle of lifting them and hauling them off.
I don't see my option.
On old 1984 tube TV. I just barely made it
into the color TV world.
Seriously I can't wait till I can get a flat panel TV. My
picture is so horrible. And in order to watch this old thing,
I have to have the sterio on, a powered antenna, a DVD player
with digital converter and an RF modulator. I'm burning
up so much energy to watch TV!!!
1984- that's too modern for us, my husband collects black and white tellys, oldest is 1950, youngest 1967, all get watched using a digital standards converter. Lots of lovely glowing valves (tubes).

I have a 1965 RCA Victor CTC-16XL (21" color TV) sitting in my garage. Prices started at $399 (that's $2250 in todays dollars) for color TV's back then, and this was the more expensive "Big Screen" model. I have no idea what it's worth today.
We couldnt sell them off after all the time it took to get them working, it would be like selling babies.
Brmst's classic RCA is desirable to a collector but if its not been switched on for forty years all the polarised capacitors will need replacing, parts will be cheap but the hard part is finding someone with the patience to do the job.

There was one of those TV fish tanks in a Newcastle pub, it made a reaction in me like as Rick Santorum would feel if you tied him down and forced him to watch a Treasure Island Media porno.
No actualy I thought of something worse, like your reaction if someone suggested taking out the engine of your wonderful pimpmobile and replacing it with a Prius motor.
I have a Vizio 55inch LCD 240htz in my living room and it has been great. It is connected to the internet but I dont use it for that as I have a Boxee connected. I've been happy with the resolution, color, etc.
