I was born in Haiti, Port au Prince. I am a Latino dancer, I can dance all Latino dance including Flamenco. I brought my BF to my island and taught him some Latino dancing; lambada, meringue, salsa, samba, flamenco and many others so what will bring you guys to the dance floor. What music is so entertaining to you that will bring you up for dancing?

I'm not a dancer, never was fluid or graceful on my feet that way. I play music (keyboard synth for my own pleasure) and have worked in and around music, and my toes get tappin and my hands play the 'air drums' and keyboards to anything with a solid backbeat. So retro rock, old Motown RnB, and stuff like that can move me.

I love this question. Like most, I've always been a follower of mainstream pop and r&b. But over the years, I've expanded my taste to include genres such as alternative rock, neo-soul, British acts, reggae (thank you Gyptian), and even folk (my hat's off to Mumford and Son). Luckily remixer and DJs are creating crowd pleasing club thumpers that cover a wide range of artist and various tastes. Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" has been ruling my Ipod for weeks and the remixes are solid. Beyonce's "Run The World" is a big anthem that shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. A Cascada track is like butter. But don't rule out Hip-Hop (yes my club actually plays hip-hop). Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj are beasts on the dance floor with plenty of remixes to back them up. Even alternative groups like Foster The People and Young Blood are making splashes in the dance world. I am inspired by it all. Good music make me dance. On the flip-side, dubstep makes me puke. But that's another matter entirely.

I was never much of a one for dancing, but if there's anything that will get me to my feet, it's the title track from the album Deep Forest, by the band of the same name.

I have also been known to bop around the room energetically to a decent bit of reggae.

Forget those "modern beats", anything 50s style real rock & roll, either from that decade or modern as long as it's in that style. I'm no dancer but nothing gets the feet tapping more than that to me ;)

<--- Now you know why I'm an "old rocker" :p

I actually learned tap dancing (river dance style) when I went for a trip in Dublin... it was great and frankly it's not as easy as it looked on TV :p. But the most difficult dance for me is definitely Flamenco

Oh I love the oldies... and I even tried some of those throw your wife in the air and let her fall move... well we're suppose to catch her back up but since she was bitching I let drop on the floor  Just kidding... that would be cool though :p

At least the old description starts with an R, not a C :pP My hand is up as identifying with the old ROCKER bunch.

Some of the newer stuff is OK, some rather hard to take.

I mostly prefer Bob Marley and other artists of that era - Peter Tosh, Desmond Dekker, Jimmy Cliff etc.

I still remember the first time I heard The Wailers' "Get Up, Stand Up" - coming over the speakers at a record store. I had never heard music with a rhythm quite like that before.

I actually saw Jimmy Cliff in concert once; in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where he was supporting Gilberto Gil. They finished the concert by performing a duet on "No Woman, No Cry", a Marley song that both of them have recorded.

Old Latin, very old Latin, think Xavier Cugat, Perez Prado, Mongo Santa Maria, et al.

No music, but alcohol. I hate dancing, but after a couple of beers (or whiskys) incidentally I dance.

It depends...when I'm entertaining at home, I bring some jazz music to the floor..it gives u the opportunity to slow grind..lol..like Will Downing and Oleta Adams, and Brenda Russell. I also like a studio musician who has some videos uploaded on YouTube and goes by the name of Matt Cusson...great mellow sounds, with a fantastic voice, and a hottie as well...I recommend him highly...also, Sade, India.Arie, and Adele...However, for a more faster pace, I still enjoy Donna Summer, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Colonel Abrams, Rihanna and David Guetta.

I'm a dj in Dallas

I love to bring breaks to the dance floor...anything from the U.K. Mix it up with a little familiar funk, and it keeps the energy going all night!!;)
