The weather today isn't even close to the snow storms we use to have when I was a children... snow banks were forming walls of snow, even remember one storm that last 3 days and froze solid our main door, we had to get out of the house from the upper balcony... not to forget the famous Ice storm of 1998 in February (coldest month in Canada) which last for days braking all electric transformers and plunging thousands of subscribers in darkness and wet cold. The lucky ones where those with a fireplace (we had one)
. It was a sad and beautiful at once show of Electric light illuminating the sky, snow and chaos... yes those days Emergency State was declared... and I've learned that day that if you haven't sign your release from the army, they'll call you hahaha.
