Currently it's 19F, on Thurs evening we had freezing rain that left about an inch of ice on everything, topped off by 8 inches of snow on Friday, and we're expecting more freezing rain/ice on Sun. followed by a low of 7F on Mon & Tues...

Sydney Weather from Now to Sunday

Looks like it's going to be a very stormy weekend for me, but at least It's going to be a nice evening tonight with temperatures in the high 10's and low 20's which is nice :) since it's very hard to sleep at night with warmer humid temps.

First significant snow storm in Boston this weekend.

The good news: I've finally put my shovel down. I'm 60 and fit, but my hands and the cold are bad companions.

I thought I put my shovel down a few years ago. I rented one of my rental units to my lifelong "friend" and his sister. They asked for my other garage space in exchange for shoveling. (It's city living, and parking is a real perk).
For four years, it was lots of parking and not much shoveling. I ended the arrangement last spring. At least I thought I did. After $$$ in lawyer's fees and a court session, I now have my space back. My former friends are still in my first floor unit, but the judge did give them a move by date.

My second floor tenants are a nice, young, fit couple. I'm pretty sure they know one end of a shovel from the other. They now have the garage space, and I'm confident (or at least hopeful) that they will fulfill their side of the bargain.

My city neighborhood is fucking ice!
I was going to the gym today, since I've been in the house all weekend.
I got outside. It was one sheet of ice. I put out the barrels, and went back inside.

Work tomorrow in the burbs. I'll try not to run anyone down.

I had my mother "guilt" my roommate into shoveling the snow...

Two weeks ago we were down below 7F, today it was 65F and in two days it's expected to be down to 15F. I have no fucking idea what to dress for from day to day...

Its going to be a very green Christmas.

At the moment it is storming (hpa 990)and rain is on its way. But with 11 C. it is not cold for the time of the year.

It was 14 degrees F / -10 degrees C here in WI. That's cold, but usual for this time of the year. It sucks!
