It was -20 C today with a strong wind blowing, but at least it was finally sunny. The forecast low for tonight is -30 C and no wind. I think maybe I'll go for a walk later on.

London, UK cloudy, rain showers, 9 degrees. Yes, weather here is usually miserable, but it still a great place to live and visit.

In Toronto, very cold. -20 degrees C but double that with the wind chill factor (which is what kills you).

A little snow overnight.
But FINALLY we're getting some days above freezing to start melting the massive snow.

There is a little snow falling at the moment - although it is calling for rain and possibly low 40's by this evening. March can be problematic as far as occasional snow storms but at least we get the feeling that winter is coming to an end. I think I will wait till next week to have the car washed though they are calling for very low temperatures again later this week.

Currently (4:45 P.M.) 79F (26C) in Long Beach, CA. The high today was 84F (29C) Yesterday it was 87F (30.5C) a record for March 7. The humidity is very low - 28%. My lips are dry and I can't seem to drink enough liquids.

It's nice to see the snow receding.

It's not pretty Christmas day snow, white and fluffy and full of charm.
It's grey and ugly; it's piles with things buried in it. Dog poop, birds, squirrels, garbage.

Any day it's warm, I throw around the snow so it will melt faster.

What will I do if I find a beautiful lad, fallen in a snow bank, dead and frozen?
Thaw him out? No, that won't work. Maybe take him frozen to a taxidermist. I can have the stuffed lad stand on my front porch. He can be a silent welcome!
