I'm happy no snow until yet here in Berlin but this morning was the first which has had a minus degree ( - 3°C). The Temperature during the day 8°C. Yes the winter is coming!

Big temp drop down to 40F

We're having our first freezing nights here in the northeastern USA.

When it warms up this afternoon, I'll get out the weedwhacker and start cutting down the garden for the winter.

Here in the Queen City NC metro, the day started at 56°F with scattered showers...it is now 46°F (with a wind chill of 39°F) and constant rain. The rain is supposed to last all day with a temperature drop down to 29°F.

Here in Petersburg, Va. we had a snow/rain mix, not much aculation if any, and the temp was about 45, went to 50 the highest.
