An American Motors Rambler, with a hole in the passenger side floorboards. Had to put plywood over it to keep passengers from putting their foot through the floor. Three on the tree. Paid $500 for it and it lasted a year.

My very first car was something like this. Two seater, one boy power air cooled engine, two (feet) on the floor transmission. The rear backwards seat was for the 'stoker' who generated the power Flintstones style. Lots of crashes, lots of blood and bruises, ripped clothes, ruined shoes and more fun than all the real cars I've had since then put together.

I was too young to remember that day
I was only three or four days old and I came home for the first time from the hospital where I was born
