"ALIENATED" - On Prime Video. A cute alien-human RomCom. Also, "BEING THE RICARDOS" About a week in the life of Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz during the filming of one week of an episode in which they had to deal with censors, the FBI/the McCarthy hearings, etc.

Being the Ricardos - A week in the life of Lucy and Desi filming their TV show and dealing with three events:

1. A gossip column item that revealed Lucy was questioned by the House Un-American Activities Committee about being a communist
2. A tabloid report about Desi cheating on Lucy
3. Lucy telling the network that she is pregnant and trying to let them write that into the show

All three of these things really happened - just not in the same week - so a little dramatic license being taken. But Lucile Ball was one of the sharpest comic minds of her generation - better than most of her writers and directors. And Desi was one of the best businessmen in Hollywood - together they built Desilu Studios into a major force in television. It was good to see a drama built around that.
