Which Host Site is worth paying to join?

Hi,

I have recently started using this forum and, like everyone else I expect, find the free download process a tad annoying!

I did, at one point a few months ago, join one of the fileshare sites for 14 days (I think it might have been rapidshare) and VERY MUCH enjoyed the benefit of downloading at fullspeed. I am now not a full paying memebr of this particular fileshare site.

The challenge I now face is that, when I do a search for movies to download, the numerous results are available in many different fileshare sites. In other words, one needs to join all of these various sites (rapidgator, luckyshare, depositfiles, rapidshare etc etc) to be in a position to actually download a file which could come from any of these sites.

So my question is.....which of these sites are worth paying for? I wouldn't mind missng out on some potential downloads because I am not a member of a particular site but I wold not want to pay for a site with few available files while failing to join a different site with a huge number of potential downloads.

I appreciate any advice provided...and thank you in advance.

I am the person less able to give the suggestion required.

I've never bought from any filehost account.

Like you said, it is a sharing site. To share, means publishing something and make it available to others.

If I do pay or compel someone to pay that share, then it is not shared, it is the market.

If I pay, I prefer it to those who produce the video or pictures, as I did in the past.

Precisely for this reason I use Zippyshare, on which the download page there is no button Premium, is completely free.

personally, i have always found the free downloads sufficient, tedious yes, but sufficient

each of the host sites will do their best to compel you to buy a membership by annoying you with waiting and restrictions.

many of these sites run "incentive" programs to uploaders, in order to generate traffic.
these uploaders will often split files into needlessly small chunks in order to further encourage you to buy a membership, thereby further lining the uploader's pocket.

personally speaking, my attitude is that if i am going to pay for something, it will be the appropriate body, not some third party (ie - filehost)

.... and do you really want to make some asshole like kim dotcom rich off your money and someone else's work ??


so look around ... work out which threads you like the most, which host is most prevalent and choose from that knowledge.

and remember that free means free, not premium luxury silver service ....

OK....so are you saying that filehost is actually a hosting site which delivers movies from the actual content owner?

2 no filehost owns any part of the content

(filehost = rs, rg, hf, mf, zs, lf, etc etc etc)

For me, it's about what the uploaders are using. Joining a great service is useless, if the uploaders don't use it.
I don't download for free unless I REALLY want it. Too annoying. I have had memberships in many of the filehosts. Their usefulness waxes and wanes.
My budget allows two memberships.. Currently rapidgator and ryushare. I try to buy three months at a time.

Zippy may be zippy, but few uploaders use it. If I were going to change, uploaded and lumfile would tempt me.

You'll find threads here bashing all of the hosts. The bashing is deserved. Pick the one that can work for you.

You have perfectly worded the purpose of my initial thread.

Haven't yet decided which one(s) to join however one thing is clear. There isn't a perfect solution to this challenge unless one joins each of these hosting sites, which I doubt anyone actually does.

GayForIt.eu might be a good one for u to check out. it has all kinds of vids and categories for you to chose from.

If you want to buy premium membership from a filehost, the most important question is WHICH LINKS you OFTEN encounter? It'd be silly to buy premium membership from filehost A but all links you encounter are from B, C, D, etc.

All premium membership is the same: resumable, faster. So u dont need to hurt ur head by thinking about that.


PS: I really dislike uploaders who lock their files for premium members only. I usually dump the blogs/uploaders that do such practice. I mean, they r not the only ones who upload the SAME file.
