If I can completely cut out one to maximise the other, I'd choose thinking over feeling. Too many times feelings get in the way and cause drama or other such bothersome things.

The assumption in the question is a false one, and probably there just to spark conversation. It is not a human possibility to separate thinking and feeling from the rest of our existence. Even sociopaths have feelings for certain people and objects (pets often). Even the most retarded of humans feels certain basic emotions and has a limited level of thinking. Unless a person is in a vegetative state, it's safe to assert that they think and feel. Since we cannot mine the unconscious brain for it's activity, it might be said that thinking continues in some way at all times, until brain death occurs.
