Why Do You Like Gayheaven?

I joined about two years ago. Unlike others, it wasn't primarily for the porn, although there were (and still are) a few things that tickled my fancy.

I lurked for a long while before registering and read thread after thread. I fell in love with the atmosphere. Forgive me for saying this, but my experiences with others in the gay community were often negative. But this place, there's something special about it. It was delightful to find people that were like minded and not walking stereotypes.

It seemed like a easy going place where one could give and receive advice about things you just couldn't or wouldn't ask anyone else without having to subject yourself to drama. On top of that, it's okay to have a discourse and disagree here. Unlike other places, there is no cabal that you have to suck up to.

All in all, what makes this place great is the people. When you put together a group of like-minded individuals together, you can never go wrong.

I have to agree, initially it was the porn. But it's definitely the people here. You'd be amazed at the convos that you can start from - see their interests and share a few clips and messages via private messaging and there you go!

Not gonna name any in particular in case I miss someone out but I think the people know who they are - everyone here is special though

There's a whole lot of love on these boards. It's like after a hard day at work, you come home to a bar full of friends. You can share all your secrets and problems and no one judges, but just supports you. It's just pleasant and quite heavenly

Generosity of people on here is quite astounding at times with requests being responded too and some members spending hours on uploading just for us. It's like one big happy homo family! p
