why less rapidshare and more bloody HF?

When I first joined there was say an equal split, allowing those of us who prefer or can only use rapidshare to download some stuff. Now though nearly every thread in the gay scetion is HF, its very dissapointing that there is getting so less rapidhsare for those of us who have premium accounts.

Well it's always been the poster's choice as to which of the permitted filehosts to use. Although I agree there has been a higher % of Hotfile posts recently there is still quite a lot of content on Rapidshare and other hosts. And the other point of view from Free users with Rapidshare is that as they can never get a d/load slot at busy times maybe Hotfile is preferable.


If it's the waiting time that gives you a problem try this tip:


THE WAY AROUND THE 15/30 MIN WAIT:

This is the way around any "you have max'ed out on your daily limit" from Hotfile,Megaloadup, Rapidshare etc. etc. for free users.

Once your first file has been downloaded and is being copied - simply disconnect from internet, immediatley reconnect, and click on the next download and away you go. Just keep on doing this at the end of every d/load and as far as Rapidshare is concerned you are now always downloading your 1st file - so there's NO waiting!!

With Megaloadup and others that let you take 3 or 4 files before kicking you out just do the above once you're kicked.

NB. Does not work for everyone - depending whether your IPS is static or dynamic.. but give it a try.

I have both Hotfile and Rapidshare Premium accounts, but when I post (not often enough, I know) I tend to use Rapidshare, simply because my personal experience of Hotfile is very poor indeed. However I know that some other people have had a bad experience of Rapidshare. Perhaps I should post to both, but I only have 512Kbps upload capacity with my ISP..

Hotfile in theory is good for downloads (fewer clicks, fo example), but for some reason I (and it seems quite a few others) get almost non-existant download speeds on Hotfile till the early hours of the morning, and nothing I can do seems to change that. So I too am glad when someone uses Rapidshare and my heart sinks when I see Hotfile.

Now if someone could find a host which is good for uploading and good for both premium and free downloads I would personally come and give him or her a kiss. Whether that would be an enjoyable experience is another matter......

People should be able to use whatever file hosting site that is REQUIRED here. If u wanna post Rapidshare go right ahead, it's just that some other file servers are more accessible. No biggie.

Also I think it works like traffic reports. As soon as we're told that there's traffic jams on route XX, but all is clear on route YY, everyone rushes off to route YY and avoids route XX. Then in a short while YY is jammed and XX is clear. So best to have as many options as possible IMHO.

I only upload to Rapidshare, since I have a premium account. However, I can remote upload to DepositFiles fairly easily, it takes me less than a minute for each file. DepositFiles may take awhile to upload it to their webspace. I am happy to mirror on DepositFiles, or if there are any other file hosts that accept remote uploads from Rapidshare (I don't know of any others), I'll mirror on there too.

Exactly!!!!! That is the true reason - some do however not use rapidshare since they had bad experiences (had their account and uploads deleted).

I cant really stand rapidshare, it's always busy and I dont really feel the need of a premium account just for porn... xD I only use megaupload... even though I like mediafire better for downloads
