Widescreen on my tv I hate it movies,tv shows & tv stations now are doing it.

I have a smaller tv in my bed room that i watch alot and it sucks when some thing is in widescreen it makes the tv smaller and it hurts my eyes.

Even when i`m watching the bigger (cost way 2 much outdated as soon as i got it) tv in my living room it gets on my nerves.

Do you guys like widescreen on your tv?

Yep! One thing I always hated in the past was having movies made square and being "panned & scanned". I'd much rather see as much of it as was intended so I've always been in favour of the letterbox effect.
Thankfully most of the stations now show them like this, those that don't I usually avoid.

On the other end of the scale I hate original square screen programmes being widescreened. That's just as bad. I like programmes and movies in their proper perspective.

Oh, yes I love widescreen! You could go into settings hammervice...when you watch a 4:3 movie, change the aspect ratio and so on...I do it sometimes when I watch some old movies...

I love widescreen! I hated pan & scan.

Of course, some films were shot in 4:3, then framed in widescreen for theatrical release prints, so just because a semi-modern movie was released on DVD in 4:3, it's not guaranteed that the studio butchered it with pan & scan (Moonstruck, for example. The original DVD was the 4:3 image that the director originally filmed, and the later DVD and Blu-ray are matted to widescreen the way the director wanted it shown in theaters). On movies like this, it is useful to have both versions if there is nudity. You see James Spader's cock in the "full screen" version of Supernova, but the theatrical "widescreen" version has a cut off image on the bottom, so you don't see his crotch. There are other movies like this, but I can't think of any titles at the moment.

The only problem with widescreen is that you need a larger TV (in the old 4:3 aspect ratio TVs, I felt 36" was the minimum size, because even a letterboxed movie looked okay on it). Now with 16:9 televisions, I would say a minimum size for me is about 34".
