WTF ? Why reposting allowed here ?

One leecher takes the video from my topic upload to another file hosting and repost the same topic. Why is this allowed here? I think that many webmasters still do not know about it otherwise they would have stopped here to post the files. I think that this is an incorrect position of the Forum Administration. Leechers dont need take videos from pay sites they can leech it in another topic and repost in same section.:angry:

Many members here cannot use certain hosts. For instance I cannot d/load from the utterly crap Oron ~X( and most of the time I cannot get anything from Filesonic either :no:. Without reposting on alternative hosts many members would not have access to a lot of content.

What are you talking about? Price premium access to any file hosting service at a cost equivalent to buying cigarettes. Who can't download from Oron or other FH ? If only those who can get from his father :butslap: for using his credit card.

I just have to add in my 2 cents on this. I agree that it's fine if things are being reposted on new file hosts or its being reposted after a long while - like a year or so after the original post. I also don't mind if the original poster got it from the website itself.

What I don't like is when people repost within days of the original post OR on hosts that are already available.

I find it quite funny how a lot of the reposters were lost when Supremos and Yourentertainment stopped posting for a period of time. Then resumed it when they came back. Lame.

Me for one! It's nothing to do with payment, I've had premium accounts with others.

All posts should be available to all , that's part of the sharing ethic we have, we're not here to provide people with a means of making cash, so as not all hosts are available to everyone (free or otherwise) depending where they are in the world there has never been a problem if files are posted using different hosts.

If it's reposted using the same file host we remove it where we see it. That has always been the case and I don't see it changing

If you think you are right try adding a rule that the poster must upload files with the file hostings as rapidshare or similar and tomorrow you will lose all posters. Just only reposters will stay here.

I will not belittle your displeasure but it seems a bit like a thief who is angry that he is robbed.
We're all thieves, stealing files from studios that actually produce them. That is the reason why I choose for the name “Sherwood Forest Productions” for my videos. Robin stole from the rich and gave it to the poor.

We share our possessions in this Forum. I really do not care about others stealing my files. In fact I feel a bit honored that others appreciate them.

On the other hand it would be a bit dull when the majority of files would be reposted. That is I think the main reason not to repost. Administrators do their best to avoid reposting. But the only way to check is the name of the file. I gather files from all over the net. The same file appears often with a different name, so it seems almost impossible to check it in a decent manner.

Be proud that others find your taste so good that they want to steal your stuff. It does not solve the problem of being stolen, but you feel better!

I gotta chuckle, here. Lets face it, what goes on here is clearly piracy. All these clips are the work product of some production studio. We are not buying them. So its kinda amusing when someone here complains that their 'work' is being stolen.

I've never taken the time to find out where this site is hosted but seemingly the laws of GHs host country allow this. In other countries this is not allowed. I can guarantee that the owners of the films don't like it one bit. They are not happy. If their lawyers were able to they'd put a stop to it . So count your blessings and tone the rhetoric down.

May be i dont understand something and really in vain I speak on the person that it the thief. Whether try to look here:
