the Yankees won the east division today, so I'm hoping they take it all the way to the World Series

I grew up a Yankee fan but can't say I'm totally endeared by them any more...my only reason for wanting them in the playoffs is the drink specials every bar has during each game...that is if you can stomach all the raving idiots

But really, it's no wonder the Yankees "make" the playoffs...they spend almost twice as much for their players as any other team. Not sure that makes for great baseball...
