I always hear about that people just come here for the porn and they dont post in your general thread section.

why do you think that is?

1. Maybe we are just to boring
2.Maybe they read and feel they have notting else to really add( im like that i read lot of whats going on and just dont know what would make a good replay)
3.maybe there time is short and hey porn is king.


I dunno what do you think the reasons are.

Im not in that boat where some say well there all just lazy blah blah

I've always figured it's a case of: This is a porn site, pornpornporn, there's chat but pornpornporn, what a waste of time when I could just get porn. Or they just don't even look at the chat sections altogether since that's not why they came here in the first place.

I like this blog even moreso than other blogs with practically no porn (considering nude pics as porn). Besides there are soooooooooo many other avenues for porn, i find that i don't even watch the stuff i get as much as i first did. I think people are just shy, and since most members are either looking for porn or uploading porn there is little time for much else..i guess.

I started here by posting in this section and enjoyed it. Over a year ago the forum was much smaller, but I've made some wonderful friends from the "discussion" area, far more than I would have by just posting in a porn forum.

More discover this area as time goes on, and I've heard many times how some didn't even know about it - they obviously don't look - but often once the chatterboxes start they love it

We have a few quiet days but in general the chat area here has a very popular & loyal following. Obviously the porn areas are going to be the most popular but once this part is discovered most realise that the porn section becomes less important.

I have hardly any other sources for porn!

I do know several other forums with general discussion = events, sports, even weather, with a local, global, or community (gay/bi) point of view... coming out, coping, relationships, cultural history... computers, online life... history and aesthetics of erotica... non-porn photos, personal and original, nature, travel... kind of the same as what general discussion here strives to be.

I believe mods and some members care, or this thread wouldn't exist or be worth saying anything... so here's an honest answer:

When I was new, I chose several topics, and carefully answered the questions, trying to be interesting, sexy, funny, fresh, and especially share personal experience on common ground. In almost every single post, the chat skipped right over me, and continued without me.

After a while I removed everything that had never been acknowledged. Since there were no thanks or quotes on most, this was easily done with the delete feature.

Wouldn't say shy, but I'm nervous and sensitive when trying to fit in. I try to make a good first impression, but chat isn't worth a huge effort, over time, and you don't change yourself to please others. So most shy and new members would have a hard time with GH general discussion being shallow, frivolous, flirty, clubby, and full of boring posts posted by the most bored.

but i have many places for porn, and i found this forum a lot more fun to play in this section than any other...and its all about FUN!!!!! having a good time so whatever place you find it is ok lol

I vote for reasons 2-3-4, I was pretty shy when I started, also didnt have much time to read and post, and thought I didnt have anything to add since I never even talked to any1 b4 xD so I just spent my available time on the porn sections u.u... but THEN... after a crazy drinking night I got home alone and not sleepy at all and started posting then love started to flow out of me xD (I know what u're thinking now... pervs >.>)

BT - your posts are great and I've always been happy to read them. I don't agree that this area is boring posts posted by the bored. That's rather derogatory against those who make the effort. I like stong opinionated people, I'm like that myself, but have to be a bit more careful being a staff member

well i personally think people come here for porn mostly, i mean if you want to socialize i think they are plenty of other sites, specifically designed for that, this is a great site, but well porn is in the way of socializing hehe

hm well i know i still get over looked, but sometimes it might simply be that people didn't read every post and hurried to reply to one they say before. Or sometimes it might just be that they don't like you....but most times its the latter!
