Conservatives Cruising for Gay Sex at CPAC

Everyone does have the right to be an asshole. You're quite right, Topdog. But it's become the point of our politics. When solutions are in reach, being an asshole matters more. I admired John McCain for a long time. Not all of his positions, but his person. But he moved with the times...and became an asshole. Pretty sad.

Young people's embrace of gay rights may be a turning point. Whatever they think of larger issues, they really don't want to align with the assholes. Can we have a politics of civility and solutions? Maybe.

But I don't know. I think we dodged a bullet last election. The billionaire assholes spent a billion dollars and still couldn't buy the election. But they still have billions, and will get better at spending it.

A sheriff is running for Congress on an anti-immigrant platform. And he has a secret gay immigrant lover.

The sheriff was at CPAC, by the way. No telling if he ran one of those Craigslist ads, but he did run Adam4Adam ads in his underwear.
