I just saw an ad for a funeral service run by a guy by the same name as the doctor who gave me shots and check-ups between age 5 and 15. Oh god I hope that's a coincidence. If those two are reAlly same guy, then I was given all my shots in childhood by a guy who makes money off death.

Well what's the problem of getting few shots by a dudes that makes death a business... you actually getting fucked by someone who's going to be his client someday and vice and versa for your husband (as soon as you get out of your mother's womb you're advancing to your end), death is part of life... and you can be sure of few things in funeral business... the clients aren't being difficult and you'll never run out of customers ). In another way that doctor is quite smart... my dad was a doctor and have loss few patient during his career... I wouldn't have believe it wrong for him to double run a business, one that save life, and one that celebrates passing (as long as he doesn't kill them on purpose lol). To be sure if it was the same dude... check out the rules in your State's Medical College... here, Quebec-Canada a medical doctor would need to leave its medical practice to run a funeral services unless he's into forensic.

When I was in school one of my friends dads was an undertaker, and he ran a bar, all on the same premises. You gotta love Ireland

It's a very odd line of work though, especially in a small town where there are only one or two undertakers. Every funeral you go to you meet the same guy in black helping the relatives get through the day. You almost feel like you know them, because they are always there at tough emotional times.

Here's one for you...

Years ago my jaw was broken in an accident and they had to call in an oral surgeon to fix it. So there I am lying on the table, doped up on morphine when I hear the nurse say "The surgeon is here"... I looked up to see my high school's football coach wearing scrubs...

Now that's fucking scary... Thank God it was his twin brother...
