I fully understand that the "backseat italians" refused to drink American coffee...

This clip is marvellous. :rofl::rofl::rofl: And I'll understand him soooo much. Italian coffee is for me (as a tea-fan!) the purest poison.

ITALIAN COFFEE ?????????

Noooooo, American coffee is poison, because it's usually so ridiculously week and watery though it looks like pitch black.

I'm also a tea fan, not just any old tea but Lapsang Souchong thank you very much!

Gorgik9 and Haiducii - please don't hate me because of my comment!! p:p;)
But when I've said "it is poison" for me I've meant it is too strong for me. Some weeks ago we have been in our Italian Restaurant with friends and we talked and talked and talked and during this time I was dringing 12 little cups of espresso and I've had a horrible night. I really thought I'll get a herart attack. It was too strong for me - and that because I never drink coffee.

So Gorgik9 and Haiducii it was only my opinion after this experience.
Please forgive me!!! :blushing::blushing::blushing::blushing:

I'll never forgive you :angry::angry:

:rofl::rofl::rofl: I'm only joking of course :big hug:

But coffee is important to me - Finns and Swedes are the biggest coffee pots in the world & what I'm saying about American coffee is mostly based on my visit to the US Midwest in 1997: it didn't really matter if I ordered coffee in a Chicago restaurant, a motel outside Minneapolis or a drugstore in a very small town in northern Minnesota - US coffee sucks :(

That's a crazy amount of caffeine!! :eek: If I drank six cups of coffee or more a day, I'd surely die. :p

Haiducii you can believe me - it was toooooo much and I told you, I've thought I've do die that night. It has been like alcohol. You are drinking and drinking and nothing happened and you are talking and talking and "Waiter another one!". And than you are going home and the world is ok but when I was in bed nothing was ok the whole night!
So this was pure poison for me and never again I'll do that again.

I like my tea or in the restaurant from time to time a good dry red vine (the same at home) or much more better a good German beer!!!!

What happened? Do you have got too much of it as I've got too much from this espresso? Or do you have got the wrong beer with the wrong taste for you?

1.) The beer from Northern Germany is really very bitter. Not every ones taste!
2.) The beer from Southern Germany (Bavaria) is (for me!!!) too lightly.
3.) The beer from Central Germany (roughly spoken) is the very best!

And all this is my own taste.

...and then there's Weissbier...

Excuse me Shelter, but the biggest beer country in all of Europe is - Belgium! Sooooo many different types of beer, sooooo many labels - and sooooooo many types of beer glasses :)

It's just a pity that because of my diabetes, my only drink besides coffee and tea is mineral water and tap water. No beer, no wine, and absofuckin'lutely no liquor.
