I think they voted first time 6 months ago?!
I guess if they voted 'no' this time too, they would have to vote again and again until the result was 'yes' lol

oh, politics politics politics... always hated politics! and politicians as well! Tony Blair president of Europe? boq... ROmania elected a guy who used to herd the sheeps but he`s reach and he is the owner of Steaua , the soccer team, to be an euro parliament man...nothing amazes me anymore nowadays
That's terrible. It was a huge achievement when the Irish rejected it. That 'treaty' was just a repackaging of the same EU constitution that voters rejected; and the second time around only Ireland was able to vote on it. Who knows what was done to get the 'yes' answer this time... Obviously they could have just come up with an improved doent filled with things that most people actually want and would vote for.
Features: The M40A1 sniper rifle is based on the Remington model 700. It is a heavy barrel, bolt action, magazine fed 7.62mm rifle that is optimized for accuracy with Match Grade ammunition. The rifle is equipped with a special 10 power Unertl sniper scope. With scope, the rifle weighs approximately 14.5 pounds. It is equipped with a built-in five round magazine. This weapon is hand-made by specially trained and qualified armorers at Quantico, Virginia.
The unique characteristics of the M40A1 Sniper Rifle are: commercial competition-grade heavy barrel, McMillan fiberglass stock and butt pad, modified Winchester Model 70 floorplate and trigger guard, and modified and lightened trigger. In addition, each stock is epoxy bedded for accuracy and all weapons must shoot less than one minute of angle (MOA).
Background: The M40A1 was put into service in the 1970s to meet the need of a long range sniper rifle. Each rifle is hand built by specially trained and qualified personnel at the Marine Corps Marksmanship Training Unit (MTU) at Quantico, Virginia.
But for taking out vehicles, equipment, or shooting through armor, we had the Barrett M82A1A SASR...
I only got to play with this bad boy a couple of times but OMFG!!!
yes we did vote yes respect it!! lol
correct a few points since... well im irish and in ireland
the first vote was over a year ago and was rejected because well a lot of the population didnt know what the fuk it was lol
this time we were asked again with legal binding guarntees from europe in reguards to our neutrailty, issues on family law aka ban on abortion and our sovernity and tax
however this time round there was a huge swing to yes cause the country is fuked and we need europe aka cash and jobs lol
so leave us alone we only doin it cause we selvish lol
england has already passed it so stop winging at us u passed it first lol
and yes i know u didnt vote on it but u did put labour into power to do it and well just proves we got better constitution as we gota vote on all europe treaties lol
only 2 countries are left to pass it, poland and the czech republic. poland is expect to sign it in a few days/weeks but the czechs have lodged a complaint to the czech constitutional court so that could take like 6 months
srry i keep up on all this crap lol and could bore u to tears lol
It doesn't bore me, I always find politics fascinating.
Our wonderful Labour Government was elected on somethinmg like 30% of the vote (forget the exact figure, it's too late ) yet have total control. We have a leader who is not voted for by the country as a leader, he's placed there by the party and even he was unelected by party members as nobody dared oppose him after Tony Blair stepped down (or was forced, depending what you interpret), he has powers effectively of a president.
No we don't "vote" for this government nor our leader nor this treaty. I'm not blaming the Irish people, it's just unfortunate that the powers that be got their way and made sure it got in one way or another.
I'm not sure what the Tories can do if it's all ratified by the time they get back in power, probably very little !
we didnt vote for our pm either, he stepped aside and a new pm elected by the party so we in same boat, we didnt vote for our leader either lol
and now i think of it we got it doubly bad as we didnt technically elect our president at the moment either. she went forward to her second term as president and no one opposed her so she was made president by default for a second term.
and technically its wrong to say u didnt vote for brown, technically u voted for labour, a party, its not a presidential thing where u vote for a person. the party decides who leads it and the population votes on a party
in ireland we got it worse with PR voting. no matter what party u vote here u always end up with 2 or more parties ruling so its always a compromised manifesto on the group of parties that rule not a single "yes i like X's manifesto" and vote for that
That's why I'm against a PR system, haven't found one I consider any fairer than our "first past the post" system. They all lead to compromise government with minority parties holding sway over the majority!
We'll be unlikely to get it here as the 2 main parties know damn well they would never get in with a majority again.
Well I hope you UKers note....in the US...we threw off your terrible form of government to embrace an even crazier more corrupt form of government....at least you guys have health care....lol.
