did mankind originate from one source?

what I mean is: I seems to me, that we are all the same physically speaking...

so did we all come from one place or thing?

I think we did, and by pure chance ended up in a place that formed us, kinda like polishing a stone, it forms it in a certain way!! lol

There are theories and I think some sort of evidence now that there were once several species of "man". The homosapien became the dominant and the others died out.

Whether it was just natural selection or maybe we were "introduced" who knows at this stage.
