well, my native language is portuguese, but my friends find my accent kinda french or italian (due to my appearance as well)

Yeah I've experienced this, since I'm a latin boy haha once I talked online to this guy and he was so excited to meet me since he was into latin guys but he was a bit too disappointed when we talk over the phone since I don't seem to have a strong accent.

I too think French is overrated as a sexy language, I speak some of it too and whenever I hear french guys I don't find it as attractive.. though most french guys I've met are sexy

spanish to me are funnier than sexy. specially because of the V and Y issues.
mostly they say the following phrase i went to Vancouver when i was very young would be something like i went to Bancouber when i was bery jung...but i guess its more about mexican spanish.

Irish people, no matter which part of Ireland they are from or what type of Irish accent they have, never pronounce 'i' as 'oi' - it's a common misconception, no doubt caused by misinformed Americans and British with bad stage-Irish accents.

I've always found Texan accents really sexy, I had a lecturer at uni who had the sexiest accent I didn't learn anything in his lectures at all because I was too busy listening to the way he talked.

Also my best friend is from Scarborough and I love her accent. I think it's the exotic 'otherness' of an accent that makes it sexier.

My own accent is between Kiwi and Aussie (born in NZ, currently living in Queensland), nobody finds it attractive, my workmates reckon I buzz like a mosquito with my Kiwi vowels and can't understand me cause I speak twice as fast as any Queenslander. And my Kiwi friends all think I have an Aussie twang.

A fine example of that is the classic movie "The Quiet Man" . At least John Wayne didn't attempt the "Oirish"
