Humans have been drawing, sculpting, painting, photographing, videotaping, digitalizing, pornographic images since the beginnings of humanity. It is as natural as human sexuality itself. If it makes you "uncomfortable", it is because you are uncomfortable about sex in some way, or because societal or religious taboos have caused you to feel that way. We should simply accept that it is a part of who we are as human beings. It is, in a word, "natural".

Thank you for that, camyoo. I think you have summed it up nice and succinctly.

It does leave the issue of self-regulation or self-discipline in what we choose to look at, how often, etc. unanswered. In other words, are we simply controlled by our desires or do we have a choice to follow them or not? And more importantly to the question in this thread, if we decide not to follow our urges, do we automatically do that ONLY because of the religious or societal factors you mention? Or is there a place for a conscience?
