Eurovision Song Contest 2017: Kyiv
Ukraine won Eurovision 2016, so Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be held in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The Ukraine broadcaster NTU has proposed new dates for the shows, with the Grand Final to be held on 13 May 2017. These dates are provisional, so theres no guarantee that these will be the dates for Eurovision 2017.
Two Ukrainian cities were in the run for hosting the contest: The capital Kyiv and Odessa, but after a long process Kyiv won the honor of hosting Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine and also the largest city. Kyiv hosted Eurovision Song Contest 2005 as well as the Junior Eurovision in 2009 and 2013.
The arena Kyiv is proposing for their bid is "International Exhibition Centre" , with a capacity of 11,000 spectators.
28 countries have expressed their interest for participation in the contest, which is subject to change.
EBU Member Broadcasters, on behalf of their countries, have until mid-September 2016 to formally submit their applications to take part in Eurovision 2017. The final list of participating countries will be released close to the end of 2016.
