In my opinion the friendship, if it is true, is independent of being gay or not, so I find it normal that two gay men can be friends without having sex.
Friendship is a feeling less sweeping of the love, but more solid and lasting.

I've read in a quality magazine that even Monkey's can have gay friendships. It seems that they use banana's to eat. All a matter of evolution, I suppose.

To actually answer...of course you can. I've had (and have) many gay men as friends. Who do you have more in common with than another gay guy? My best bud of decades lives right downstairs. He's gay, and I love him like a brother.

Sometimes you can even slip from friend to fuckbuddy, from lover to friend. I see that much more with my gay men friends than my strait friends.
It can get complicated if one side has feelings that the other does not share. But life can be complicated.
And on gayheaven? Most members just are here for the porn, but there's a merry little band who know better. The real action is hanging with my buds!

And to be clear. If I win I want the banana. If I lose, I want the banana. No matter what...a ripe and peeled banana for me.

Never had a gay friend... Guess it's the same with straight men + straight women, it's possible but it's not that common. But that's just me.

I know that's not true now where I live. Gay is just another characteristic for young people.
What about more repressive countries? Isn't a gay bud really important? I realize gayheaven can somewhat fill that role, but it must be lonely anyway.

Luckily this is a GMO modified banana. It has genes from 12 different species!
So it can "last" for years, maybe even decades. US-patent, I guess :rofl:

I never had a gay-friend until now. They were all boyfriends of lovers. Never friends.

So I don't know can gay friendship function. And I don't mean this kind of "internet" friendship, where we don't actually know each other. Where we hide behind silly pictures, and funny names.

I have many str8 friends. We do different kind of stuff. Going out, watching sports ... Although some of them are really hot - I never had a sexual interest in them. Because I know they're straight. I don't know would I be able to have a same "no-interest" feeling with a gay guy.

Someone said it very nicely: firendship between woman and str8 man can exist, but rarely. I guess it's the same here....

It's good you have a special banana, Mr Monkey...since the common banana most of us see in the grocery store is fast dying out.
A century ago, another banana was king. It was called Big Mike! Everyone LOVED Big Mike (of course they did). But Mike got Panama disease, and never recovered.
Now the Cavandish banana is king. But a new Panama disease has got hold of it, and it is not expected to survive.
Take heart, there are many other varieties around. But I am a little sad I never got to swallow Big Mike.

Nah, I came out to my friends back in time, they were all straight males. I got all my support from them and my current friends (who mostly happen to be straight males too). I knew that gay people exist . But I didn't really miss having a gay friend. They understood and understand me pretty well but I can imagine why someone wants a gay friend.
