Surprised how little this topic has been mentioned (that I have been able to find) but what are people's stories about straight guys giving 'signs'; and if they turned out to be conclusive?

I currently fancy this guy (more of a crush) who is straight, and thinks I am straight but don't know where to go with it. Unfortunately it is probably just me being paranoid about everything he does in the hope that he is gay!!

How do know he's straight? Why would he think you're straight? You should at least tell him you're gay, see how he responds, if he wants nothing to do with you then let him go, if he's still friends then later down the road drop a hint that you think he's cute. He might be flattered, he won't be shocked in any case. If you're very lucky he might come out as gay too and fancy you back. If not at least youve got a more honest friendship with him and youre being true to yourself. Gaydar is a myth

I have had my share of being entangled with "straight guys" and if I believe that if it's going to evolved into a friendship, then I am honest with them about my sexuality and this way you can see if there are going to be acceptable or not. However, once we the friendship get to a comfortable place, this is where you should reveal to him about your crush. In fact, more than likely, at this point, the straight guy will probably question you in regard to since you're gay, why you've never made a pass at him? Isn't he hot enough? BTW, I do believe in GAYDAR..mine has never been wrong..every "straight" guy that I became acquainted with and if I got the feeling or intuition that they are GAY, eventually came to surface as being true.

I don't know for sure; but he says he is (but so do I-so there we go!), I would tell him but he goes to the same 6th Form as me and I am paranoid if I say something and he reacts badly he'll tell everyone and I wanted to wait until Uni.

Also I'm not really brave enough!!

And I do hope to know him in the future, but thats along way a way!!

Let me share something with you from my own personal experience...with so-called straight guys..I've had my share ...anyway, when you've mentioned how this guy has been approached by other gay guys and he acts weird about this, now, if you do not want anyone to know your sexual identity, more than likely, you would act the same way. This guy had done the same thing with me. He was approached by a lot of gay men and would react the same way. However, after our friendship had progressed to a very comfortable level and I revealed to him that I was a gay man because there were some gay guys in the neighborhood who knew that we were hanging out a lot and I knew that if I didn't tell him first, they would just for spite. Nonetheless, what I discovered soon after I reveal this information, he started flirting which he did a lot especially when we were alone and not in the company of his friends. In fact, many of his straight friends would come to my place and visit and they knew I was gay without me saying anything and yet, they did embrace me by saying that I was the cooler than any of the other gay guys that he was friends with prior to meeting me??????...OKAY!!!!...anyway, what I've noticed was the more I did not give the reaction that he expected, his flirting went to another level which resulted in him getting totally naked ...To conclude and not to get further in depth with this story, let it play out and let nature take its course.:thumbs up:
