Has anybody noticed the Thanks button?

Am I confusing or misunderstanding myself when I push the Thanks-button to your posts though I'm gonna disagree with you?

I am certainly not going to complain if you push Thanks to one of my posts, nor will I take offence if you don't. But if you are going to disagree with my post, or even if you are going to agree with it, I'd much rather you said so, and said why, in a post of your own. It then becomes more like a real conversation.
