I'm good and i'm guessing anyone who reads Nietzsche and company, is good too? :)

Read them like you having a glass of wine. One sip at a time letting yourself become imbued with the stretched horizons. If you're like me, it might take forever to get to the bottom of the bottle...haha :D But along the way you already know that 'forever' doesn't exist...or does it?

How are you with all the people/feelings/things that passes through your life? Do they part with a part of you or do you add something to them? ;)

How are you?
Its a polite convention. Is it an invitation to tell about your medical ills? Your fuckbuddy encounters? Your fears, your needs?
It is not. It's just a convention.

My cousin is a social worker. She once told me that if you encounter someone who does not understand the convention, don't use that phrase. Say " nice to see you" instead.

There is a phrase that sums up "How I Am"...

"Any day above ground is a good day"

Don't take my comment the wrong way. It's not meant to be flippant. It's supposed to be a little humorous, hehe.

The fact is I always wake up in a good frame of mind. Along the way through the day I pick up on any negativity from others. It usually slides right off like water on a duck's back but sometimes it seeps in. In those cases I try to infuse some of my positive vibe into the situation.

Asking 'How are you?' is a good way to begin sharing good vibes.

Sniff :)

Well, I've read all of these great writers (and Heidegger, and Sartre, and Simone de Beauvoir, and Camus, and of course St. Augustine) and I've never ever read Sören Aabye Kierkegard as an example of that damned label "existentialism" - that's damned pidgeon-holing!!!

Kierkegaard's most central concept was "hiin enkelte" - the singular person - and he absolutely detested all kinds of collectivism and "groupie thinking" in his time - the Hegelian groupies, the Grundtvigian groupies - and he would bash your sorry faggot ass for "existentialism". He's an extremely FIERCE writer, but at the same time funny as hell. He's the only philosopher of real magnitude that's made me :))
