How many of you use a Proxy to access certain sites?

Hi guys!

I'm wondering how many people out there use a Web-based proxy for maintaining your anonymity on the internet?

I've always wondered if people take the extra effort to do so, and if you do, where would you recommend doing it?

Proxies slow you down, and annonymizing proxies like the TOR network REALLY slow you down. A regular web proxy will not give you anonymity, so if anonymity is what you're after, then TOR is really the only game in town.

Even TOR will not give you complete anonymity, and like I said, TOR is VERY VERY VERY slow.

i use it when i want to get the tour de france...id have to pay here...so i use a british proxy to get live streams of it from there lol

Proxies slow you down

Not really, depends on what proxies you use and how you use them. If you're using public proxies then yeah speed would be bitchin and most likely your info would be stored in honeypots :butslap:
